Bangkok Dangerous Trailer and Poster

The new poster and trailer for the upcoming Nicolas Cage flick, Bangkok Dangerous, have just hit the net. The movie is a remake of the 1999 Thai film of the same name, and sees a hitman (Cage) completing a series of jobs in Bangkok and at the same time falling for a local woman. I’ve heard good things about the original, and the same filmmakers are behind this Americanized version, so hopefully that’s a good thing.

The poster is nothing special, and the trailer didn’t really blow me away either, but this is Cage in an action flick as a hitman, so I’m pretty excited about the possibilities. That being said, the whole flashy-hitman movie has been done to death, so hopefully were in for something a little different.

Bangkok Dangerous opens on August 22, 2008.
