Ben Stiller Wants a Zoolander Sequel

Ben Stiller has confirmed he is working on a sequel to his comedy Zoolander. According to WENN, the actor is in talks to get production rolling on a follow-up and is currently looking at scripts.
Stiller told WENN the following, “I’ve been trying to get Zoolander 2 together and we’ve had a few scripts. I feel that is the sequel I really would like to do some day because I like the original and I would make sure it was something new and worthy of it first.”
Along with starring in the 2001 flick, Stiller directed it and co-wrote the screenplay with Drake Sather and John Hamburg. Stiller played Derek Zoolander, a clueless fashion model who, at the end of his career, is brainwashed to kill the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
The movie also starred Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Christine Taylor, Milla Jovovich, Jerry Stiller, David Duchovny and Jon Voight.
The original opened on September 28, 2001 and grossed $45 million on a budget of $28 million.
