Brush Up on Some X-Files

Just in time for the upcoming X-Files sequel comes the release of a new anthology DVD, X-Files: Revelations, which will bring together eight critical episodes hand picked by Chris Carter. The DVD boasts the statement “The Essential guide to the X-Files movie”, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, seeing as how the new flick is a stand alone story, and Chris Carter has said that people completely unfamiliar with the show will be able to enjoy it.

The eight episodes will be:

• Pilot
• Beyond the Sea
• The Host
• Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose
• Memento Mori
• The Post-Modern Prometheus
• Bad Blood
• Milagro

Each episode will also feature an introduction by Chris Carter and producer Frank Spotnitz, as well as a panel session from WonderCon, the trailer for the new movie, and a ticket to see the new flic. It will be released on July 8.
