Corey Feldman Talks Lost Boys 2

I’m sure everyone that grew up in the 80’s had a set of flicks they watched over and over again. I grew up watching E.T., The Goonies, and Back to the Future, and I still watch those movies like crazy. I was of course aware of The Lost Boys, but it just wasn’t ever one of my go to flicks when I was a kid. Having said that, I’m still curious to see the long-awaited direct-to-disc sequel, The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe, if only because I’ll get to see the two Corey’s back on screen together doing what they do best - kick vampire ass.
Shocktillyoudrop.com recently posted an interview with Corey Feldman. Here are some interesting excerpts, including when we’ll get to see the trailer.
Shock: Where does the sequel pick up the story from?
Feldman: It takes place 20 years later as in real time and there’s going to be a comic book series from DC Comics that is going to give you the back story of everything that happened to our characters between the first one and the current one [details]. They’re also talking about a third. This could be a trilogy in the making.
Shock: When do you think the trailer will be out?
Feldman: The first trailer I heard about is being released on “I Am Legend.” That’s the first teaser and I know they’re going to leak it to some Internet site. They still haven’t given the official word on whether it’s theatrical or DVD yet. There’s been all kinds of fan petitions. There’s a fan petition on YouTube. Somebody made a video and they’re sending it to the studios. They’ve been getting flooded with positive energy from fans who want to see it on the big screen and I think it’s working. Fingers crossed. Either way I’ll be happy. I think it’s going to be a good movie.
