Daniel Craig Likes Playing Bond

Here’s a piece of news that the folks over at Craig is not Bond are gonna hate. The Hollywood Reporter has got word that Daniel Craig has signed on to play the iconic character four more times. Pitting the star in the role until 2014, assuming there will be a new bond movie every other year.

Craig was signed on to star in three more, but has added another to the pile. After last years Casino Royale came out, a lot of people were heralding Craig as the best to ever dawn the tux and martini, personally I thought Craig did an awesome job, but he’s hardly the best. I can recall people saying the same things about one Pierce Brosnan when his first try as 007 came out, but then he went and made The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day and people stopped praising him. It’s good news for Craig as long the movies stay at the same caliber as Royale – here’s hoping we don’t have to sit through four Die Another Day’s

The next Bond is slated to come out November 2008.
