Darren Aronofsky’s Audio Commentary for the Fountain
September 17th, 2007 by James Cook | Source:

Here’s an interesting story, apparently Darren Aronofsky had planned on recording a commentary for the DVD release of his latest film, The Fountain, but the studio decided against it. Perhaps holding it back for a future release of the film? Whatever the reason, Aronofsky didn’t let it stop him because he just ended up recording it himself - a pretty easy task these days. He’s made it available to download on his website, just throw it on your iPod or any music player, sync it up and you’re good to go.
Hopefully listening to it will help me to understand the film a little better. I think this is awesome and hopefully more filmmakers won’t let a studio stop them from providing extra material for their films.
Download it here.
