First Look: Rain of Madness

I’m extremely excited for Tropic Thunder, as I’m sure most people are, but I’m also pumped to see the mockumentary that will accompany the flick, Rain of Madness. The first trailer and poster are now online and it definitely looks like Madness will be just as much fun as Thunder. Check out the poster below and head on over here for the trailer. You should also check out the official site, which includes a bio of director Jan Jürgen.

  4. Looks like promising movie to offer north-American humor to the masses. I hope the movie does not make jokes about sensitive topics of the us-American war crimes.

  5. So a British comedy style (mocumentry) with the British comedian Steve Coogan means this movie is only north-American humor? And who are these masses that don’t already sit through reruns night after night of Friends and Fraser. Don’t get me wrong the American Office is funny now that they have found there feet and the Simpsons raised me and most of my friends, I am just amazed that someone thinks north-American humor is ever offered to the masses, we already have it jammed down our throats like petrol price spikes (thanks a ton for a mild-east war dudes! killer idea!)
Why shouldn’t there be jokes about war crimes, the Pinkvill massacre was the American war machines true colours and for some reason it is not open to discourse? Comedic discourse has a long tradition of not being bound to taboo.
In the modern context with Americans in the illegal Iraq war shooting kids, hitting them with vehicles and eating their flesh (one can only assume) having some speak-easy dialog going can be nothing but good.

Also to the thunderstorm of madness wont you think of the double entendre!
