Hudson and McConaughey Team for Foul Remake

It looks like Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey will team once again as Hollywood Backwash is reporting that the duo are planning to star in a remake of Foul Play, the 1978 comedy-thriller that starred Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn.

Collins Higgins (9 to 5) directed the original which saw a shy San Francisco librarian and a bumbling cop fall in love as they solve a crime involving albinos, dwarves, and the Catholic Church. The film was a hit and Chase and Hawn both received golden globe nominations, the film also received an Oscar nomination for best original song.

Hudson and McConaughey previously worked together on How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Fool’s Gold.
