James McTeigue Set for Revelation

James McTeigue, director of V for Vendetta and Wachowski Brothers protégé, is attached to direct the new thriller Revelation, reports Variety.

The story centers on a female journalist who is assigned to investigate a series of bizarre murders and discovers that the victims were all being treated by the head of an organization that researches alien abductions.

John Salvati penned the screenplay. Salvati also co-wrote the new Al Pacino film Dali & IL The Surreal Story, which is being directed by Andrew Niccol (Simone, Lord of War).

McTeigue is currently helming Warner Bros.’ Ninja Assassin, which is being produced by the Wachowski Brothers.
