Journeyman is on the Skids

journeymanontheskids.jpgJourneyman was one of the new fall shows I was eagerly anticipating. I thought the first episode showed a lot of promise, but subsequent episodes just lost my interest. I tried to stick with it, hoping it would pick up, but for me it never did. It could be one of those shows I return to on DVD, but for now I’ve stopped watching, and it would appear I might not be the only one. Premium Hollywood recently talked with Kevin Falls, producer of the show, and he wasn’t sure the show would be picked up for a full season, partly due to the strike and because of low ratings.

Here’s an excerpt from the interview. Read the full interview here.

Episode 12 is the end of our order. If…and let’s not kid ourselves, it’s a long shot that we would get a back nine, given the strike and our questionable numbers…but we wrote it in a way so it could be the series-ending show. I mean, it wouldn’t answer every question, but it would give you a lot to chew on. We would give you some answers, and we’d withhold others. In the case we would actually go on to a second season, we didn’t want to turn over every card, but I think people will find it satisfying, and it’s really good.
