Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead Trailer and Poster

Joy Ride was a 2001 flick that saw Paul Walker, Steve Zahn and Leelee Sobieski run from a deranged truck driver named Rusty Nail. I’m sure a lot of you are thinking that those combined stars plus a storyline involving a villain named Rusty Nail probably made for a pretty crappy movie, but Joy Ride was actually pretty decent.

Joy Ride 2 however, looks like complete garbage. The trailer has popped up online thanks to the folks over at Bloody Disgusting and it looks like every other bad direct-to-disc sequel of a marginally successful flick. Bloody Disgusting also provides the plot synopsis:

In the film four young adults (Melissa, Bobby, Kayla, Nik) on the road to a concert in Las Vegas take a lethal side trip — and when their beater of a car breaks down, they make the fatal error of stealing a car belonging to depraved, homicidal, sadistic, maniacal, sociopathic trucker Rusty Nail.
