Lame Special Editions: Into the Wild

Don’t you just hate seeing unnecessary special edition DVDs getting released, I mean the format has been around long enough for crap like this to stop. Case and point – the upcoming DVD release of Into the Wild. I thought the film was pretty decent, I would have liked it to be better but it’s worth a watch. What isn’t worth anything is the so called special editon of the flick that’s going to be released next to the single disc. The single disc is straight up bare bones, while the 2 disc editon has the following features:

- Into the Wild: The Story, The Characters featurette
- An Into the Wild: The Experience featurette
- the trailer.

Wow, that sure is packed to the brim with features, better throw that stuff on an extra disc. Someone please give me a reason why they couldn’t of just added these special features to one disc and had one release.

At any rate you can pick up either editions of this flick on February 12.
