Lost Casting News

fisherstevenslost.jpgThere was a time when I didn’t watch too many TV shows. I’m not saying I never watched that much TV, just that I didn’t pay too much attention to a weekly series. I was never one of those people that tuned in on a particular day to watch their favorite show. Lost changed that for me, although I still don’t tune in on a particular day – thanks to DVR. I’m a lost freak, and after last season’s finale there were many questions being screamed at my TV and for that matter, many televisions across the globe.

At the end of last season, Jack was seen communicating with someone via a satellite phone. The mysterious voice that promised rescue for the stranded now has a face, Fisher Stevens. Stevens will play Minkowski, and will be a recurring character for the show’s upcoming fourth season.

Steven seems like a good fit for the show, and I’ll never forget him from Short Circuit. The Lost community is vast and filled with people that are constantly trying to figure out all the clues hidden in the show. The character of Minkowski has already been linked to German mathematician Hermann Minkowski, who created the Minkowski space, a four-dimensional system including the three dimensions of space plus the dimension of time. Figuring out Lost can sometimes be a headache – I love it!
