Martin and Keaton Team for Zero to Sixty

Steve Martin and Diane Keaton will once again share the screen in the new comedy From Zero to Sixty. Martin and his producing partner Robert Simmons pitched the idea for the film to various studios last week, with Paramount grabbing it, reports Variety.
Plot details are scarce at this point, but it’s said that Martin and Keaton will play a couple in the comedy, and Paramount could put the film into production this fall if a writer is drafted quickly.
Simonds is the producer of the Pink Panther series, and he and Martin just wrapped the Harald Zwart-directed Pink Panther 2, which will be released in February. They have already begun talking with writers about Pink Panther 3.
From Zero to Sixty marks the second reunion project in the works for Martin and Keaton. The Father of the Bride duo recently signed on to One Big Happy Family, another comedy for Paramount being developed by Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman, the creators of Party of Five.
