Mike Myers Returns with The Love Guru

The last time we got to see Mike Myers on the big screen was in 2002 with the third Austin Powers flick, Austin Powers in Goldmember, a movie that had its moments but was ultimately a let down for most fans of that series. Myers will be returning to theaters this summer with The Love Guru, and the new trailer has just hit the web. Personally I think this trailer is terrible and it’s a little surprising to see Myers make his big screen return with a new flick starring a character we’ve all seen before. He’s essentially playing Austin Powers with a hint of Borat. Why not just make Austin Powers 4?

In the flick, Myers stars as Pitka, an American who was raised by gurus in India. He’s contacted by the Toronto Maple Leafs to help out one of their star players. The movie also stars Jessica Alba, Justin Timberlake and Myers go-to-little-person Vern Troyer.
