Yet even more problems have hit David O. Russell’s upcoming political-comedy Nailed, as the film has shut down for the second time due to financial problems when below-the-line crews refused to work Thursday, reports Variety.

Members of the International Alliance of Theatrical & Stage Employees (IATSE) were ordered by leaders not to show up at the South Carolina set after not being paid. Last week production halted after the Screen Actors Guild told its members to stay off the set after Capitol Films failed to deposit enough required money in SAG accounts set up to pay the actors. After a one-day shutdown, production resumed Monday.

Money-woes aren’t the only thing that has put Nailed in the headlines, you may remember that actor James Caan left the film after fighting with O’Russell, reportedly over how his character should choke on a cookie. James Brolin replaced him.

The film, which centers on a woman from a small town who goes on a crusade for better health care, began shooting April 15 and is due to wrap in mid-June. It stars Jessica Biel, Jake Gyllenhaal Catherine Keener, James Marsden, Tracy Morgan and the aforementioned Brolin.
