More Sign Up for Porn Indie

The trades are reporting that James Caan, Gabriel Macht (The Spirit), Peter Stormare (Fargo) and Rachael Taylor (Shutter) have joined the cast of the indie drama Middle Men, which chronicles the birth of the Internet porn industry.

Luke Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi headline the flick, which is being directed by George Gallo (Double Take, Trapped in Paradise) from the script he wrote with Andy Weiss (MTV’s Punk’d).

The comedy centers on a straight-and-narrow businessman who builds the first online billing company dealing exclusively with adult entertainment. He finds himself in the middle of a whirlwind filled with starlets, conmen, Russian mobsters, federal agents and international terrorists - all while trying to hold on to his marriage and family.

The film has a SAG waiver and will start shooting later this month in Phoenix. It opens next year.
