- Oscar nominated actress Rinko Kikuchi (Babel)is in talks to star in Map of the Sounds of Tokyo, a dual-identity drama written and directed by Isabel Coixet. The film is a Japanese-set dramatic thriller that centers on a fish-market employee who doubles as a contract killer. >> More
- The folks over at Joblo that Billy Bob Thorton might be in the running to play Freddy Kruger in the Platinum Dunes remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. >> More
- Production on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has been delayed for four weeks due to Shia LaBeoufs recent injury from a car accident. In a T2 side note, the movie will also open in IMAX. >> More
- Zak Penn, who is best known for adapting such comicbook properties as The Incredible Hulk and The X-Men for the bigscreen, is writing and will produce The Argonauts for 20th Century Fox, which is an original take on the classic greek tale. >> More
