  • The folks over at IESB have reviewed the script for The Green Lantern and it’s very positive. Robert Sanchez says it’s “action packed from the beginning to end. It has the potential to be bigger than Iron Man or maybe even The Dark Knight.” The site also reveals that George Miller might be in talks to direct. >> More
  • Don’t look for the upcoming Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa to be the last in the series. DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg has revealed another sequel is likely. >> More
  • Moviehole is reporting, according to a trusted source, that Sam Raimi hasn’t officially signed on to direct a new Jack Ryan film for Paramount. >> More
  • David Duchovny and Tea Leoni’s banner And Then Productions. will be making some music with CBS Films. They’ve acquired the comedy spec Born to Rock from writers Jess Walter and Mark Steilen. >> More
  • It seems there may not be extended delays for the filming of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen after all. Film School Rejects have learned that Shia LaBeouf will be returning to work on Thursday. >> More
  • Lionsgate has acquired the Duane Swierczynski novel Severance Package and has hired helmer Brett Simon (Assassination of a High School President) to write the script with the author and direct. >> More
