  • ComingSoon has learned that 20th Century Fox will debut the first trailer for Dragonball in theaters on October 17 with the studio’s video game adaptation Max Payne. >> More
  • Contrary to recent reports, Steven Spielberg remains committed to directing the first in a planned Tintin trilogy for DreamWorks. It will be his next directing effort after this summer’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. >> More
  • Filmmaker Charles Ferguson’s Oscar nominated documentary No End in Sight is coming to You Tube. Between Sept. 1 and Nov. 4 you’ll be able to catch the film in it’s entirety on the video site. >> More
  • The Office co-exec producers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky have sold their spec comedy script Bad Teacher to Columbia Pictures. The story follows a foul-mouthed, gold-digging seventh-grade teacher who’s dumped by her sugar-daddy boyfriend and turns her attention toward a colleague. >> More
  • Voodoo Pictures has acquired rights to Alan Donnes’ football tome Patron Saints: How the Saints Gave New Orleans a Reason to Believe. Michael Arata and Jerry Daigle are producing. Production’s aimed for next year in New Orleans. >> More
  • Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay will adapt the comic book The Boys for Columbia Pictures. The story follows the adventures of a CIA squad, known informally as “the boys,” whose job is to keep watch on the proliferation of superheroes and, if necessary, intimidate or eliminate them. >> More
  • Legendary Pictures has tapped Jayson Rothwell to pen thriller The Mountain. It centers on a sheriff, recently transplanted from the inner city, who assembles a search party to investigate the disappearance of hikers in the Cascade Mountains and discovers the menacing side of the remote wilderness. >> More
