  • The International Press Academy has announced the nominees for its 13th annual Satellite Awards. Best Picture noms include The Reader, Slumdog Millionaire, Revolutionary Road, Frost/Nixon, Milk and Frozen River. Christopher Nolan was nominated for Best Director for The Dark Knight. >> More
  • Benderspink has acquired film rights to The Straw Men, a crime thriller by Brit author Michael Marshall Smith, along with rights to the comic adaptation by Zenescope Comics head Joe Brusha. >> More
  • David Fincher and Keanu Reeves may be joining forces for a flick called Chef. The rumored project revolves around a Michelin-level chef who tries to make a comeback from major personal issues. He gathers his old friends together as his ‘dream team’ and ends up falling in love with the newest member of the group. >> More
  • The folks over at Latino Review have reviewed the script for Beverly Hills Cop 4, which Brett Ratner is attached to direct and is now tentatively titled Beverly Hills Cop 2009. They gave the script a C+. >> More
  • Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Cate Blanchett, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin, Betty White, Fankie Jonas, Noah Cyrys and Cloris Leachman will all lend their voices to the English-language version of Hayao Miyazaki’s Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea. >> More
  • While on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Kristen Stewart revealed that the sequel to the blockbuster Twilight, New Moon, will begin filming in March in Italy. >> More
  • Tommy Lee Wallace (Fright Night Part 2) is attached to direct Helliversity, a horror flick centering on a group of American exchange students who are terrorized by a vengeful spirit while locked inside a high-security foreign university. >> More
  • Joblo.com was sent an early review of Seth Rogen’s Observe and Report. In the flick, due in theaters in April, Rogen plays a mall security guard who wages a war on the cops. For what it’s worth the reader gave the flick an 8/10. >> More
