  • Steve Martin is joining Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin in an untitled romantic comedy that Nancy Meyers (Father of the Bride) wrote and will direct in February. Martin and Baldwin will play rivals for the affection of a woman (Streep). >> More
  • DreamWorks has nailed down its seven-year distribution pact with Universal. Universal will commit $150 million to the new venture and will collect an 8% distribution fee. Paramount will still be distributing many films before and after the new U deal takes effect. >> More
  • A new teaser poster for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li recently appeared at the Tokyo Game Show. The poster is now online as well as the Japanese website. >> More
  • Summit Entertainment has set Gary Winick (Bride Wars) to direct Rat Bastard, a Heather McGowan-scripted comedy that Niels Mueller is rewriting. The title character is a conman who plots revenge when his old partner steals the loot from their latest grift and hides out by posing as a chef for a family on New York’s Upper East Side. >> More
  • Trekmovie.com says we can expect to see a new trailer for J.J Abrams’ Star Trek in November. It won’t be just a teaser either, it is expected to show the Enterprise exterior and the Enterprise bridge as well as dialog from movie. >> More
  • Blurry images of Captain American in The Incredible Hulk have hit the web. The images come from a deleted scenes found on the upcoming DVD. >> More
  • MGM has compiled most of the lead cast for its accelerating remake of the 1980 musical Fame. Kristy Flores, Paul Iacono, Paul McGill, Naturi Naughton, Kay Panabaker, Kherington Payne, Collins Pennie, Walter Perez and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle have joined the ensemble. >> More
