New Apatow Flick Gets a Title

Judd Apatow’s next film will be called Funny People and Jason Schwartzman and Jonah Hill have joined the cast, reports Variety. The two join the already announced Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann, and Eric Bana.
Plot details are still being guarded, but Apatow has revealed that the movie will take place in the world of standup comedy and focus on a comedian who has a near-death experience.
The movie, which is a co-production of Apatow Productions and Happy Madison, will start shooting this September Los Angeles and will arrive in theaters next Summer.
This will be Apatow’s third time sitting in the director’s chair. His other two films are the hugely popular, and successful, Knocked Up and The 40 Year Old Virgin.
