One More Hour For Lost Season Four?

The writers strike caused a lot problems for Hollywood. People lost their jobs and the city lost a huge chunk of coin thanks to the picketing writers. It was definitely a hectic time for the movie and television world, but really, my inner fanboy only cared about one thing – Will I still get to see Lost? What can I say - my inner fanboy is a selfish dude.

Thankfully, Lost, and a lot of other shows are back in full swing, and it was reported a while back that Lost’s original plan of 16 fourth season episodes would be cut to 13. Now comes word from TV Guide that we might be getting another episode.

According to one of my 815 snitches, Team Darlton is in advanced talks with ABC to produce — wait for it, wait for it — an additional hour of Lost this season!

Now, before you go French-kissing a total stranger out of sheer elation, my source stresses that this is by no means a done deal. In fact, the scheduling hurdles alone are enough to make a grown man cry. But you have to admit, the prospect of a 14th hour is a tantalizing one.

If they can find a way to squeeze an extra episode of Lost into the schedule than I’ll be pretty excited, the more Lost the better.
