Robocop Remake Teases
June 11th, 2008 by James Cook | Source: SuperHeroHype
News of a Robocop remake started back in March when it was announced that MGM had interest in bringing back the sci-fi franchise, and it now looks like they’re doing just that. The first teaser poster has just appeared at the Licensing International Expo, confirming the movie, and setting a 2010 release date. Check it out below.

I think it’s a snare lol awesome.

Tomara que não seja mais um daqueles filmes que prometem pra caralho, tem tudo pra ser um filmaço e no final é um fiasco. A propósito, srs gringos, se quiserem ler meu comentário, traduzam para seu idioma.

Wow. They aren’t even reaching back to the 1970s for ideas anymore. Shit, not even the early 80s. This is awful…

I can’t believe it. One of the all time classics is going to get it up the… What next? Blade Runner?
The recording industry is blaming the world for its losses when it just spews out crap after more crap. Does hollywood really want to go down that same path?

What with all the remakes recently? Just because CGI is quite amazing now days does not mean we need to remake last 60 years of film.

Do we know it is a 100% remake or a continuation?
notsomodern | Jun 13th, 2008
@Notsomodern
The word I keep hearing is “reboot”, meaning the movie probably won’t follow the original beat for beat, rather just an updated take on the character.
James Cook | Jun 13th, 2008
I think a continuation, and i’m looking forward to it, still the feeling of robocop 1 will never be achieved again.

Yep,
There is no more creativity left in the hollywood executive… Pretty soon we’ll start to see the drek Disney was spewing out in the early 80’s when it’s executives took over the creative side of that studio…
So, soon I guess we’ll be seeing the remake of Citizen Kane, Casablanca, etc…
Hell why wait, why not do a remake of “The Wedding Crashers”, it’s a few years old now?!

Hi!
I’m a Big Movie Company Exec and I have no talent, understanding or brains.
But nobody will tell me that to my face because I have stolen so much money from other people that I’m surrounded by Yes Men and completely disconnected from reality.
Now excuse me while I snort some coke off a call-boy’s tool….
