Sam Jackson Joins Unthinkable

Samuel L. Jackson has signed on to star in Unthinkable, the new film from director Gregor Jordan, reports Variety. Gregor directed Buffalo Soliders, Ned Kelly and is currently in post production on The Informers, which stars Winona Ryder, Mickey Rourke, Billy Bob Thornton and the late Brad Renfro.

Unthinkable centers on a major threat to the United States when the locations of three nuclear devices are shrouded in secrecy by a single terrorist. With only two days before they are deployed, a black-ops interrogator and a female FBI agent have to decide how far they will go to find them.

Senator Entertainment will produce and finance with topper Marco Weber and Caldecot Chubb producing. The film marks the second collaboration between Jordan and Weber, who recently worked together on the aforementioned Informers.

No release date has been set, but production begins on September 2 in Michigan.
