Entertainment Tonight has posted a new video from the set of Prince of Persia, the upcoming video game adaptation being directed by Mike Newell and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

The flick stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan, an adventurer who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world. Most of the below video is complete ET nonsense, but it does give a brief look at some of the action scenes. Gyllenhaal also confirms that he’d be down for sequels.

Due to hit theaters in 2010, Prince of Persia also stars Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Ben Kingsley.

What Others Have to Say:

  1. Jake Gyllenhaal don’t look like a persian people. The computa animation must make a special effect only for his face.
This film would be doing to make propaganda of Video Games and the most film that Hollywood are producing this film industry become money of merchandise.
Bruckheimer and his time can watch this film alone and their money too!

  2. True, they should have had a persiona person. But i can’t wait for the movie, i’ve played the game and it’s brilliant. I hope the movie will be good too even though they’ve changed the storyline a little.
