Shyamalan Delivers New Happening Clip

A new clip for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening has just debuted online, and it comes with an introduction from the director himself. Shyamalan explains that he thought about the film in terms of “The Exorcist” and “The Godfather” movies with “very visceral moments”, as well as confirming that it will indeed be R rated. His brief intro to the clip has managed to do what two trailers couldn’t – sell me. After hearing him talk, I must admit, I’m excited to see it. Check it out below.

The Happening stars Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel and John Leguizamo. It opens June 13.
