The Darjeeling Limited Prequel – Hotel Chevalier

Wes Anderson’s new film, The Darjeeling Limited, is just about ready to hit the screen, but before you go check it out you might want to head on over to iTunes and download the 13-minute prequel, Hotel Chevalier. It tells the story of Jason Schwartzman’s character, living in a hotel room in Paris, as he deals with his ex-girlfriend, played by Natalie Portman.

It’s doesn’t really offer that much, just two characters that you don’t really know anything about and in typical Anderson fashion a catchy tune and some slow motion. Portman gets naked though, so that’s a big plus.

For whatever reason, iTunes is only offering the short to U.S. residents, but thanks to the magic of the interwebs, anyone outside the U.S .can check it out here.
