The Day the Earth Stood Still Teaser

The first teaser trailer for the remake The Day the Earth Stood Still has just hit the net. If you’ve already seen Hancock then odds are you’ve seen this too, but those who haven’t been to the theater yet can check it out below. Keanu Reeves stars in the remake of the 1951 classic as Klaatu, an alien who has come to Earth to warn the human race of a possible attack.

Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) directed the film, which also stars Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, Jaden Smith, Jon Hamm and John Cleese. It arrives in theaters on December 12, 2008.
