The Hancock Teaser Poster

The first teaser poster for Will Smith’s latest flick, Hancock, is now online and it emits the same feelings as the first teaser trailer – ‘meh’. I think mixing comedy with the dominating superhero genre can be a tricky thing. Most of the time people just like to see their heroes flying or swinging around and kicking ass. My Super-Ex Girlfriend took a stab at mixing these two genres and the end result was horrible. At this point, I’m just not convinced that Smith can do a better job. That being said he is one of the most likable actors around and can make bad movies somewhat enjoyable. There’s still plenty of time before this comes out so I’m not going to write it off just yet.
