Trailer for Alex Proyas’ Knowing

The first trailer for Knowing has just hit over at IGN. In the Alex Proyas (Dark City, I, Robot) film Nicolas Cage stars as a teacher who opens a time capsule that has been dug up at his son’s elementary school; in it are some chilling predictions — some that have already occurred and others that are about to — that lead him to believe his family plays a role in the events that are about to unfold.
You can watch the trailer below. Knowing also stars Rose Byrne and Chandler Canterbury. It opens March 20, 2009.
Looks like one of Nicolas Cage’s ‘good’ movies. A lot of his recent ones have been crap.
