Trailer for The Tale of Despereaux

The first trailer for the upcoming animated flick The Tale of Despereaux is now online. The movie is based on the Kate DiCamillo book and follows three unlikely heroes - a misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them, an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears.

Lending their voices are Matthew Broderick, Emma Watson, Dustin Hoffman, Sigourney Weaver, Christopher Lloyd, Stanley Tucci, Tony Hale, Tracey Ullman, Kevin Kline and William H. Macy. Despereaux will arrive in theaters this December.
