The folks over at Bloody Disgusting have informed us that Uwe Boll has begun work on his latest flick, Storm. It’s a horror thriller from Brightlight Pictures, the same studio that collaborated with Boll on House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne, In the Name of the King, Seed and Postal.

According to BD Storm will star Luke Perry (Beverly Hills, 90210), Lauren Holly (Dumb & Dumber) and Steve Bacic (Andromeda, The Guard).

In the flick, a stranger named Silas (Perry) emerges from a devastating storm seeking refuge with Tom (Bacic) and Gillian (Holly) on their farm. As they struggle to deal with the upheaval and disaster left in the wake of the storm, Silas may be the only one who can help Tom, Gillian and their young son survive. But as the family comes to terms with what they have lost in the storm, they are threatened by a danger that could prove even more catastrophic than the forces of nature.

Boll’s latest videogame flick, Far Cry, was released in October in Germany but still hasn’t seen the light of day anywhere else. The director also has Stoic, a drama starring Edward Furlong, awaiting release.

In Stoic, a heated game of poker causes three men incarcerated for nonviolent offenses to brutalize their cellmate before taking drastic measures in order to cover up their crime.
