Vin Diesel Returning for More xXx

Never say never seems to be Vin Diesel’s motto these days. The actor is once again returning to the well, just like he came back for another Fast and the Furious, Diesel has now agreed to reprise his role of Xander Cage in a new xXx.
Variety reports that Columbia Pictures is in discussions with producer Joe Roth for a new version of xXx, one that would bring back Diesel as the star and Rob Cohen as director. The flick is still without a script but is going by the title xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
Roth controls the property because the original film was made by his Revolution Studios, which was also behind xXx: State of the Union, a sequel that starred Ice Cube and was directed by Lee Tamahori.
In the 2002 original, Diesel played an extreme sports enthusiast who gets drafted by the government for a dangerous mission. It’s said he bowed out of the first sequel because of salary disputes.
